District Manager - ZalesLocated in the Michigan Area Reports To: Vice President of Regional Operations Mall/JaredReporting to this Position: 8-16 StoresBasic Function:Directs a District of approximately 8-16 Stores in order to achieve sales and profits through leadership and training in accordance with Company policies, systems, procedures and provided training programs.Minimum Requirements:

Completion of Information Security Awareness Quiz with a passing score

Completion of Safety First Quiz (Akron-Based Team Members) or the 2016 Key Safety Curriculum (Dallas-Based Team Members) with a passing score

No Code of Conduct written counseling within the past six months

Met all expectations (Akron-based Team Members) or Achieved Requirements (Dallas-based Team Members) on last Performance Appraisal

Completion of Minimum Training Requirements training module and completion of the Minimum Training Requirements Quiz, with a passing score, which are located on the Signet Learning Portal

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the application and adherence to Company policies and procedures in support of the Company’s business objectives, Corporate Mission Statement and Guest first philosophy.

Attain sales projections and sales quotas as set by the Company. Maximizes both personal and Team Member’s sales potential.

The position is responsible for monitoring GEI performance within the assigned District to make certain effective implementation of the corporate initiative.

The position is required to cultivate and maintain productive relationships at all levels creating an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.

This position has the daily responsibility for the operations, staffing and sales leadership throughout assigned Stores including recruiting and hiring authority for Store staffing but, must seek approval from the Vice President of Regional Operations when hiring Store Managers and Store Managers-in-Waiting.

The incumbent is responsible for full compliance of Company policies, systems and procedures in the assigned District.

Facilitates sales management programs for their assigned Stores, monitors performance and provides behavior based feedback.

Recruit and hire Team Members at all levels within their District.

Makes certain each Team Member receives standardized initial and ongoing training.

Monitor and enforce individual performance standards. Monitor the timely and consistent execution of tasks and one-on-one training within market.

Monitor corporate competition in the local market then communicate analysis and trends to Store Operations Management Team.

Principal Accountabilities:

The position is to display conduct conducive of a role model during their interactions with others; adhere to and make certain all Team Members comply with the Company Statement of Standards of Conduct and Business Ethics.

The position is accountable for the sales and net profit performance for assigned Stores inclusive of all reported standards.

The position is accountable for adhering to payroll budgets and maintaining Corporate wage rate plans.

Administers standardized Time Records system procedures, payroll management and labor scheduling programs to make sure Stores match Jewelry Consultant schedules to Guest traffic patterns and administrative needs.

The position is accountable for recruiting and succession planning within their District.

The position is accountable for the training and development of the Store Management Team and/or Sales Team.

The position is expected to attend all business meetings as required.

The position must possess and maintain a working knowledge of all policies, systems and procedures governing Store operations and be capable of leading, training and enforcing compliance in the Stores.

Effective and compliant utilization of training and communication systems including but not limited to: email, internet, communication to and from the Support Center and self-guided training.
