FirstService Residential Minnesota is seeking candidates for a Rental Community Manager position for a property located in Minneapolis.

The Community Manager is responsible for supervising the daily operation of the property while maximizing occupancy and resident retention. This includes but is not limited to running the management office, responding to resident’s requests in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with the property Rules and Regulations, budgeting and timely report generation, coordinating a maintenance schedule (daily/quarterly/annual) and overseeing on-site staff.

The Community Manager oversees the many aspects of the rental listings and communication with potential residents. Including but not limited to responding to inquiries, scheduling showings, maintaining the community website with up to date availability and pricing, follow up with prospective tenants, facilitating background checks, generation and execution of leases and addendums and creation of resident files. In some instance the Community Manager will act as a liaison to third party leasing vendor partners.

Applicants must have:

Previous Apartment experience of 3+ years required.

Yardi, Rent Café, Excel, Outlook and Word experience required.

Real Estate license (active)

Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Budgeting and financial experience preferred, including gross potential calculations, variance reporting and payables documentation.

The Community Manager’s hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. plus some weekends based on move-ins.
