Essential Job Duties:

Extend a friendly greeting to all guests

Take guest’s order accurately

Accept payment from guests and make change correctly

Present order to guest, properly packaged and with all necessary accompaniments and utensils

Generate additional sales whenever possible by suggesting additional menu items

Clean all guest areas (sweep and mop as needed)

Present to management when any front-of- house equipment needs service or inventory is needed

Explain menu and answer product questions as raised by guests

Relay the order to kitchen staff

Thank guests for their business

Operate the cash register and being responsible for cash receipts

Count the change back in the register at the beginning and end of shift

Prep drinks and assist in kitchen prep of items such as sauces, coleslaw, croutons, etc.

Remove trash from waste receptacles and place at back of restaurant
