Computer Futures - Salesforce JR QA

Expectation: A quality analyst with One to Two years' experience should have experience in manual test execution within an agile framework. Ability to effectively communicate with Product owners, development teams, and offshore quality assurance teams. The candidate should have previous experience with HPALM and/or JIRA. Should be able to read and understand basic Java code, and should be able to participate in unit test review meetings with the development team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Exposure to test automation tools using selenium
  • Ability to analyze and assist in resolving defects
  • Ability to work well with shifting priorities
  • Ability to work with cross-functional team of internal and external resources located onshore and offshore
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Display professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion
  • Critical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintain positive attitude

  • Good understanding of quality assurance process, tools and methodologies
  • Experience using HP ALM Test Suite and JIRA
  • Understanding of database schemas and querying tools
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience working with high paced Agile teams
  • Ability to read and understand basic JAVA code
  • Ability to participate in Unit tests review meetings with the development team
Nice to Have:
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM application
