MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE USASECOND SHIFTCompetitive Shift DifferentialEnsure that all products receive a uniform and complete finish as specified by the customer’s contract specifications; perform such work consistent with corporate mission and values and department financial objectives. Essential Functions:Read finishing requirements from blueprintsApply various types of coatings (paint, zinc, etc.) in accordance with customer specificationsWear a respirator and/or supplied air hoodUse rigging/hoisting equipment and/or forklift to move material into position for finishing and/or transportInspect cranes/rigging equipment for defective parts and notify supervisor of defects or malfunctionsTag load for shipmentProduce a product that meets recognized standards and customer expectations by maintaining quality proceduresComply with Global Harmonized System (GHS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and hazardous waste labeling requirementsExecute proper spill response proceduresDaily cleaning and maintenance of area, to include finishing equipmentProperly dispose of coating materials, cleaning, trash and scrap metal removal, and other production-support related jobsMaintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with customers, co-workers, clients and supervisorsWork in a safe and conscientious mannerAssist other employees in the performance of their duties as necessaryPerform other job duties as assigned by supervisor
