Senior Tax Associate - Trust & Estate

The Senior Tax Associate will work in our Trust and Estate practice, which provides clients with Estate Planning and Tax Compliance Services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Senior Tax Associate will work in our Trust and Estate practice, which provides clients with Estate Planning and Tax Compliance Services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Prepare individual, fiduciary, gift and estate tax returns

Prepare estate and trust fiduciary accountings

Provide high level personal financial and estate compliance services

Review tax information supplied by clients and provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations

Perform tax research and respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities

BA/BS degree in Accounting required; MST preferred

3+ years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm

CPA certification or demonstrated progress towards obtaining CPA certification, including required coursework (150 credits)

Experience in individual, estate, trust and gift tax preparation, fiduciary accounting and research software required

Knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax laws

Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
