job summary:

• Translates business strategies and objectives into business requirements.
• Develops functional and operational requirements using requirements management methodology and tools.
• Assists junior staff to test and analyze final requirements.
• Ensures requirements are communicated effectively to paries responsible for technical development and implementation.
• Manage data and reporting requests.
• Develops and delivers training and supplemental materials.
• Writes the business specifications detailing operations of an application or specific function.
• Define and implement best practices with internal and external vendors, including continuous review.
• Assist with data analysis to drive process improvements

Specific Responsibilities - Business Analysts

• Support in detailing and documenting priority use cases / underlying data points
• Compile/Refresh data dictionary, if applicable
• Assess current state of Master Databases - what data attributes/systems are feeding in? how is data being fed in - manual vs. automated feeds?
• Support development of data maturity assessment model
• Conduct data maturity assessments and work with the business to come up with action plans to help address the gaps identified
