Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry in their Jersey City, NJ location. This is a 12 month + contract position.. Requirements:

• Design and Programming experience in Python or other object-oriented language (Python preferred)
• SQL on any RDBMS
• Plus working Experience in any of the following:
• object databases
• messaging systems
• parallel/ grid compute options
• scheduling systems
• Experience in Agile software development
• Preferred to have Banking and Financial Domain experience, understanding of enterprise data architectures in the financial industry with strong problem solving skills
• Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of collateral portfolio assignment and ISDA/ local law derivative contracts is a plus
