What unique gene will you bring?Automated Application Services, Test Automation Services, Associate Director role leads the delivery of key testing projects, adherence to best practices, compliance with IT initiatives, and management of development and testing software tools. The individual brings an excellent background in the management of outsourced service providers in delivering IT solutions and is a self-starter and passionate about quality delivery. The role ensures coordination with validation, agile, DevOps, project management, and security organizations within projects. It also contributes towards the automated testing roadmap and strategy by collaborating across areas. This role leads an outsourced team of over 100 members from multiple service providers with practical experience in test planning, designing, and execution.Key Roles & Responsibilities.

Testing leadership – take direct ownership of critical test projects and drive the service providers to successful completion; approximately 5 to 10 large- and enterprise-scale projects per year.

Governance – partner with IT Quality Assurance/IT Quality Management, Agile COE, Cloud and DevOps, and platforms/business application teams to establish and enforce testing best practices.

Coordinate multiple service providers for software testing (100+ resources), monitor work intake, ensure proper protocols followed for creating and delivering estimates.

Software development and testing tools - manage license renewals/growth; establish and lead User Groups with key tool users; develop and lead roadmap/strategy; coordinate user training.

Lead the Autism2Work initiative within testing – help determine models to integrate within BMS IT testing; monitor progress and define/facilitate improvement actions

Implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and the overall quality of the service providers and their testing delivery.

Key Skills/Experience/Education/Certifications

10+ years experience in IT within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or financial industry.

Autonomous and self-directed

Strong leadership skills

Ability to collaborate with IT, business, and partners/vendors

Expertise in analyzing information, critical thinking, and written and verbal communication skills

Ability to use structured problem solving and available tools to evaluate problems, identify root cause, create action plans, assess impact, and improve intake processes quickly.

Thorough understanding of service provider consumption and demonstrated ability to capture requirements, establish a framework, and leverage best practices to analyze and improve current processes.

Strong communicator via all media: collaboration technologies (Yammer, Teams, SharePoint, Skype, etc.) and presentations – written, emails, verbal – with a wide variety of audiences

Relationship/Service provider management - Manage a large delivery team to outcomes-based results

Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations

Experience in leading teams and taking ownership of deliverables

Experience with Agile, DevOps methodology and familiar with cloud-based solutions.

Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
