We buy and sell pre-owned appliances
Everyone cleans appliances and deliveries are done afternoon mostly between 1-5pm
Edith Appliance is looking for a delivery driver/ Installer to work.
We are looking for someone who is a hard worker, hustles, has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work.
Qualifications/Must have
Must have clean driving record. No DWIs no felonies.
Must pass drug screening. With random drug tests every year.
Valid driver’s license
Able to drive 17’ box trucks or truck with a trailer hitched.
CALL CUSTOMERS BEFORE DELIVERY
Able to move appliance with hand truck/dolly such as fridges, washers, dryers and ovens. Upstairs if needed.
Any upstairs or big appliances 2 people are always used.
Able to use hand tools for installation.(Must have own hand tools)
Safety is #1
18 years of age or older.
Able to work 5 days a week with excellent attendance.
Reliable transportation to get to work on time
Job Description/ Responsibilities :(Training is provided)
You will be responsible for delivering appliances, installing appliances.
Reading work orders and understanding efficient routes with GPS
We will provide help for upstair deliveries or deliveries that require 2 guys.
Calling delivery customers to see if they’re on the property EVERYTIME.
Giving customers an estimated time of delivery.
Friendly customer service.
Loading and unloading scrap metal.
Cleaning and organizing inside work truck.
Loading and unloading appliances in s safe manner
Installing correct dryer cords for customers outlet
Making sure appliance is tested if installed.
Clean appliances. And scrap loads to metal yard as needed.
Keep a clean & safe work environment.
