pre-screening all patients: approximately 90% of whom are local New Mexicans, and all of whom have not traveled out of state within the previous 2 weeks, to qualify for in-person visits

verified normal body temperatures

all wipeable surfaces that are thoroughly cleaned between each treatment

patients invited to arrive no sooner than 5 minutes before appointments, limiting amount of patients in waiting areas and duration of time that they spend in waiting areas

touchless payments / scheduling online or by phone

online forms - reduced paper handling

surgical grade HEPA air purifiers in each treatment room which filter air of the entire room every 15 minutes

patients and providers wear masks at all times

Requirements for the position:

Active NM Licensure in Massage Therapy

Professional Liability Insurance

Medical Massage experience within a medical clinic or wellness center

Verifiable experience writing SOAP format medical treatment notes within the past 7 years

Willingness to document a detailed SOAP note for each treatment, within our EHR / Electronic Health Record System

The successful LMT Candidate must:

Provide 60 minute manual therapy sessions, in concert with and/or independent from Primary Care Medicine visits and/or Acupuncture and Oriental Medical treatments.

Routinely make Patient Care available on a weekly basis, for at least 16 but preferably 20 hourlong visits per week.

Be open to a flexible schedule inclusive of some Evening and Weekend appointments.

Enjoy working with the full diversity of our community and beyond

Offer a wide range of Manual Therapy services, including mastery of at least one, but preferably a combination of these modalities: MyoFascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, NeuroMuscular Reeducation, Passive/Active Stretching, Therapeutic Exercise, etc. (Preference given to those with proven success in Injury Rehabilitation and treatment of Repetitive Motion disorders.)

Be willing to designate Mountain Spirit's clinics as their exclusive northern NM location to offer/provide Massage that is billed to a 3rd party payor (ie Health Insurance), for a period of at least 18 months.

Reimbursement:

Clinic is known for fair and generous FEE SCHEDULEs for our Contracted Providers.

Fee-For-Service pay rate(s) will be based on successful Contractor’s experience, quality of treatment interview, and demonstrated capability of SOAP format notation.
