Description

We are seeking a qualified Full-time Credit Associate who is "customer-service" oriented, to join our Credit Department Team in Syracuse, NY. The Credit Associate will be responsible for processing credit applications and setting up charge accounts. They must call customers to collect past due accounts, resolve customer issues related to their accounts and answer general credit inquiries.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer incoming calls from customers

Call customers regarding past due accounts

Maintain effective work relationships with new and existing customers

Utilize aging report to monitor and collect on past due accounts

Provide customers with statements, invoices and packing slips

Process credit card payments and applications

Review and respond to credit holds for potential sales.

Maintain a safe and clean area at all times

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Required

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency working with MS Office Suite, especially MS Word and MS Excel

Ability to interface with all levels of personnel including sales and management

Accounts Receivable experience helpful but not required

Adept at multi-tasking

Strong organization skills

Strong customer service skills

Strong computer skills

Detail-oriented

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 Am - 5:00 Pm, Weekends Off, All Paid Major Holidays Off
