We are seeking a part time shipping assistant to assist in our day-to-day shipping needs. This position may become full-time based on performance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including receiving, shipping, and inspecting inventory items. Organization skills and attention to detail is extremely important in this position. Candidate will ensure items received are stocked in designated locations and that items picked for shipping are correctly identified and properly packaged according to our standards. Additional general warehouse activities may also be required including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, and standing for longer periods of time.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Be detail oriented and highly motivated

Possess the ability to think outside the box

Be able to work extended hours as needed

Be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift larger packages up to 60 pounds

Be willing to perform daily warehouse cleaning and organizing tasks

Have a flexible “can-do” attitude and be willing to tackle a wide variety of tasks

Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically

Organize packaging procedures to ensure safety of shipment

Pull, pack and ship finished goods

Prepare and paste labels on shipments

Take part in year-end and general inventory procedures
