DESCRIPTION

Supervises and participates in the work of crew installing projects given by project manager. Directing a team of 3 or more in construction of paver patios, SRW retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, outdoor fire pits and fireplaces, hardscapes, low voltage lighting, grading, drainage, and landscaping.

DUTIES

Reading and executing plans given by Project manager

Ability to problem solve issues and getting approval from Project Manager

Prioritize projects, assign work tasks to crew members, procure materials, file work orders, communicate with PM and clients.

Lead crew members for correct and safe execution of project

Ability to train crew members in successful installation techniques and machine operation

Maintain a safe and clean work space

Drive and/or order materials and equipment required for project

Continue to acquire knowledge and experience in the industry

Attend and participate in education and classes required by YF

Effectively work as and encourage crew members to work as a solid unit

Encourage growth within the company and it’s members

Follow company standards.

REQUIREMENTS

Crew leaders must be fully knowledgable and experienced in installations of all hardscapes offered by company. Able to organize and delegate work tasks to crew members. Able to teach and train crew members in work tasks involved with proper installations. Have a valid drivers license and clean record. They must be certified in ICPI paver installer and SRW installer courses (can be acquired through YF). Must continue to grow and educate self and unit in industry. Crew leaders maintain a safe work record within company. They must have the ability to properly communicate with PM and clients. They must be able to complete tasks expressed in job description and be willing to participate in activities deemed necessary by YF.

WORK WEEK

An average workweek is 40 hr. a week. 5 9hr days a week 7:30am-4:30pm. Standard week is Monday through Friday. If unable to work through weather or other circumstances, then days will be made up on Saturdays.

-Salary pay is dependent on experience
