TRAVELING REPAIR Technician

About Us:

We have proudly been in business for over 40 years serving the retail and grocery industries. Although shopping carts are our specialty, we are growing and diversifying our service business.

We are seeking highly skilled men and women to perform maintenance and repair on shopping carts and rolling equipment, complete installation projects, and conduct site surveys, for national retail and grocery store chains. Learn how to diagnose and repair equipment, install access gates/shelving, and conduct photographic surveys through our paid On-the-Job Training Program.

Traveling Repair Technician Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding service to our customers by repairing rolling stock equipment such as shopping carts, pallet jacks, ladders, and material handling carts

Pressure wash sidewalks and equipment

Install shelving and other installation projects

Perform site surveys by collecting data and photos on your Smart Phone and company provided App

Drive to customer sites [2-3 hours daily] in your territory to perform work; some overnight stays required. Home most weekends

Maintain proper care of company vehicle, equipment and electronics

Traveling Repair Technician Qualifications:

High level of skilled or working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.

Proficient using hands and tools to repair and troubleshoot

Proficient use of Apps and handheld devices

Time management skills

Field experience strongly preferred

Solid communication/customer service skills

Can do attitude and self-motivated

Endurance and the ability to work in outdoor weather conditions

High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience

Must have valid vehicle operator's license and clean Motor Vehicle Report for last 5 years (no DUIs or suspensions)

Background check, DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen are required

Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

W-2 Employment (you will not be a contractor)
