Kelly Engineering is currently recruiting for a (Direct Hire) (Technical Manager) job located in Central NC.Responsibilities:

The Technical Manager plans and organizes maintenance and technical improvements to production machinery and installations, utilities, internal transport and facilities.

The Technical Manager studies, organizes and plans the execution of certain new investment projects, whether or not in collaboration with other services.

The Technical Manager is the team leader of the technical services team of the plant.

The technical manager is part of the Plant Management Team and in that role contributes to the plant performance.

Maintenance Plan

Performance of the technical service team.

Optimize Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).

Implement a continuous improvement culture.

Minimize downtime in case of technical defects.

Contribute to the safety of the plant and zero accident culture.

Requirements:

Mechanical components and mechanisms

Electrical components and controls

Programmable Logical Controls (PLC)

Theoretical subjects in Higher Technical Education

AutoCAD or similar

Must be able to perform duties following all regulatory GMP/FSMA food hygiene practices

3-5 years of experience in maintenance or technical service.

Experience with packaging machines is a plus.

Experience in the food industry is a plus.

Experience with bakery machines is a plus.

Experience with packaging materials is a plus.

Experience with technical aspects of utilities and telecommunications is a plus.

Continuous improvement mentality

Experience working in an FDA regulated facility is preferred

Preferred experience with PLC systems (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens)
