job summary:For this contract assignment, you will be part of a lean, cross functional team that is delivering a country-wide rollout of the Business Owner Policy (BOP) product to our independent agent base. In this role, you will be responsible for performing software testing activities, using a variety of testing approaches and techniques. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to recognize and reduce redundancies in testing efforts, minimize complexity, and create efficiency without compromising effectiveness. location: Cleveland, Ohiojob type: Contractsalary: $38 - 48 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:- Participate in daily standups, requirements reviews, design reviews, systems analysis and testing review discussions in a SCRUM environment- Develop test plans and execute on them- Communicates regularly with project members and advocates for resolution of high priority problems with Service Manager and Project ManagerRequired Skills:- Experience with: Postman, Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, Cloud technologies, APIs- Experience with manual testing- Knowledge & Experience in risk-based testing approaches, test plan preparation, and test execution- Exposure to Agile Methodologies (SCRUM)- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, adapt to new situations and learn quickly.- strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Experience eliciting requirementsPreferred skills and experiences:- Business process improvement experience- Insurance/Financial industry background (Commercial knowledge a plus)- Experience working as an Agile Analyst (requirement gathering and testing) qualifications:
