Modis - Help Desk Analyst

Help Desk AnalystModis, Inc. is seeking a Help Desk Analyst for a role in Cleveland, OH. The Help Desk Analyst will serve as primary contact to provide Help Desk support to 100+ users at multiple locations, remotely and in person. Qualified candidates will have 1 year of Help Desk experience or an IT degree or certifications.This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a non-profit offering children’s’ services, and can lead to future career growth! Help Desk Analyst Job Responsibilities Include :

  • Taking ownership of all user hardware and software issues while assigning appropriate priority to each issue to ensure end users are able to perform their job functions
  • Creating, maintaining, disabling Active Directory Users, Exchange mailboxes, and other user accounts for various software applications
  • Imaging, configuring, and deploying equipment to end users
  • Assigning network folder permissions
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity and bandwidth issues between multiple physical locations
  • Moving and connecting PC's, printers, projectors, and network hardware. Installing PC memory, hard drives, video cards, etc.
  • Performing monthly audits of Active Directory User and Computer accounts, inventory system, antivirus, third party updates, etc.
  • Maintaining inventory tracking system
  • Troubleshooting Remote Desktop connection and RD Gateway issues
  • Providing training on various IT systems and software to end users
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff
  • Maintaining professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing professional publications
  • Performing special projects as needed or directed
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required. 2-year degree in Information Technology related field preferred however relevant job experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Experience:
Configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows 8/10 PC’s, iPads, Chromebooks, Printers, Microsoft Office, and various software applications. Configuring users in Active Directory
  • Strong communication skills are a must
  • Ability to follow complex technical instructions with a strong attention to detail
