Job Description
The In-Training Control Room Operator is responsible for operating, managing, and controlling machine operations to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, and to company’s standards. This position works in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall direction and guidance to the machine operations and personnel
Monitors and operates systems to ensure quality, production, on-time delivery and plans for long term needs
Maintain a safe, healthy, clean work place environment and comply with all safety and environmental policies and regulations
Create an environment with high morale and motivation
Support and promote Company vision, mission, and values
Train, coach, and interact with employees directly or through direct reports to consistently achieve performance standards
Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
Ability to work 2nd shift, overtime, and weekends
Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered
Prepare and maintain machine reports
Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including cleaning, production and management
Other duties and responsibilities delegated by the management team
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
2-5 years manufacturing, production, facilities management, or maintenance role is required
Work independently with minimal direct supervision
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to follow through on multiple and concurrent assignments
