The Accounting Assistant position is a critical role in our organization reporting directly to the firm's Financial Controller. This individual would be responsible for a host of supportive duties in the finance department.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Data Entry

Accounts Receivable Data Entry

Bank Account Reconciliation

Auditing of reported data

Financial reporting to Upper Management

Manage physical & Digital records

Audit General Ledgers

Direct Point of Contact for All Vendors & any finance related customer service issues

General Accounting

Requirements

2+ years accounting experience

Proven knowledge of General Accounting Principles

Knowledge of QuickBooks Software.

Advanced Excel skills

Solid knowledge of MS Office

Self-starter

Ability to meet competing deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $18.00 to $26.00 /hour
