As our Porter at 5 MLK, our brand new building located at the east end of the Burnside Bridge, you will assist in providing a high-quality living environment for the residents by ensuring standards for cleanliness, physical appearance and curb appeal for the property are met at all times. This is a regular full-time position.Your primarily responsibilities will include:Cleaning and upkeep of the building, including amenity and common areas. This includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, washing windows, cleaning stairwells, and more.Detailed cleaning and upkeep of the grounds, ensuring all areas of the grounds are free of trash and debris. This includes daily trash removal from specified areas and apartment community perimeter.Ensure garbage and recycling areas are clean and odor is controlled.Cleaning and trash removal of vacant apartments, including model units, ensuring a spotless presentation in preparation for occupancy.May be asked to perform some light maintenance duties, not to exceed 25% of available time, to supplement the maintenance efforts.Timely reporting of supply needs to Building Engineer.Participation in the monitoring and replacement, if required, of common-area lighting.Support asset preservation and resident needs by communicating maintenance needs, repairs and unsafe conditions to Building Engineer or Property Manager.Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including prospects, residents and vendors.If the following describes you, we want to hear from you:Customer focus – dedication to meeting the expectations, needs and requirements of internal and external customers, successfully gaining their trust and respect.
