Job Description:

  • At least 10+ years of experience in Digital Solutions in the Retail / Restaurant / Quick service restaurant store operations area
  • At least 5+ years of experience working with Master data Management / Product information Management systems in Retail / Restaurant/ Quick service space
  • Certified as CSPO and has hands on experience working in Agile environment
  • Product Owner assists Product and Solution Management with developing the vision and roadmap
  • Prioritizes and manages the team backlog including breaking down features to be included in the iterations
  • Responsible for writing the user stories, acceptance criteria and accepting all User Stories
  • Providing clarifications to the Agile teams on product vision, direction or user stories
  • Participation and availability to the team and attends all Agile Team ceremonies including supporting PI Planning initiative
  • Ensuring work done by the team aligns to the wider business strategy
  • Assists with creation of Roadmap and Vision
  • Overall responsibility of the team's direction and clarity on the Product delivery
  • Working with the Product Manager to lead the usability of the solution with solid understanding of users, the marketplace, the competition and of future trends for the domain or type of system being developed
  • Managing scope and ensures that once an Iteration starts that no new requirements are added to the Iteration without clear economic tradeoffs being understood
  • Once the team starts on an iteration, ensuring that the team remains focused on the goal of that iteration
  • Demonstrates commitment by doing whatever is necessary to build the best product possible and actively engages with the team
  • Ensures the team has clear iteration goals that have been agreed upon and that they align to the Program Increment Objectives and articulate other development priorities (i.e. Refactoring, Tech Debt, Outside Needs)
  • Should have expertise in defining the "whats" of the system and their behaviors in detail. For example for Commerce PO should understand the various business workflows and translate them into system workflows.
  • Should be able to translate the business rules and understand how the rules are applied within the various system workflow. Clearly state in specific terms the state of the enterprise (users, business entities, etc.) before and after the workflow executes. Specifically state the alternate or how anomalous behavior within the workflows will be handled.
