This position supports the Assistant Manager for Facilities and Projects (AMFP) within the Savannah River field office of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) located at the Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, SC. This position assesses and evaluates contractor design, development, implementation, testing, and operation of IT systems and infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set and advises the AMFP. SKT is an AA/EEOC/American Indian Hiring Preference Employer.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provides day-to-day assessment of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) design, development, implementation, testing, and operation and communicate advice and recommendations to the AMFP.

Contributes to the development, testing, evaluation, and design of IT standards, systems, infrastructure, and solutions.

Coordinates with multiple functional areas and vendors on the planning, upgrading, testing, and servicing of IT solutions.

Provides day-to-day technical support to users as required for network, server, and general IT infrastructure issues.

Develops processes that leverage known industry standards and follow internal procedures including change management, incident management, and problem escalation.

Builds and maintains an IT operations documentation library.

Supports IT acquisitions, IT cost reporting, and development of technical reports as required.

Qualifications:Education - Bachelor’s degree in Control & Systems Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, is desired.Experience - Minimum 6 years relevant work experience is preferred. May substitute 2 years of hands-on experience in a related field for each year of formal training.License, Certifications, Registrations - Current driver’s license, proof of U.S. citizenship and the ability to satisfy a background investigation to obtain a security clearance. Any of the following professional certifications are preferred: CISSP, SAN GIAC, MCSE, or Security+ ceSpecialist Knowledge, Skills, Abilities - Knowledge of the design, development, implementation, testing, and operation of Industrial Control Systems. Knowledge of Information Assurance and Cybersecurity policies, procedures and practices including the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53.All qualifications, education, and experience listed in the job description must be able to be demonstrated at an appropriate level for the position through evaluation of the resume, testing, and an interview process as appropriate.
