Find your future with us.Boeing is seeking an Experienced Plant Operator (Level C) to support our Manufacturing Operations Support & Logistics (MO&SL) team in North Charleston, SC .This position will support Boeing South Carolina locations including the North Charleston Airport Campus and Ladson Facilities depending on business needs.Monitor and Control building & infrastructure equipment via building management systems

Troubleshoot and repair Mechanical, Electrical and Life Safety Systems by interpreting schematics and blueprints

Perform equipment rounds to ensure equipment is operating and designed efficiency

Utilize hand and power tools used to make repairs and adjustments to this equipment

Utilize Energy Management Systems and in particular Staefa brand EMCS/BMS

Work with Power Distribution Systems from both Commercial and backup Power Generation

Utilize general knowledge of building codes, state regulations and safety procedures

Respond to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity

Repair and maintain plant equipment and demonstrates advanced skill level in these areas

May receive specialized equipment training

May provide training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment

Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges

Manage contracted service providers

Coordinate preventative maintenance, and planned jobs with contracted service providers

Manage critical HVAC spare parts inventory

Provide tech support to onsite contractors

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Boeing South Carolina location.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC

Minimum 3 years of experience in maintaining Plant/Building Operations equipment

Ability to lift 35 pound on a frequent basis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with control systems and data acquisition systems experience do you have

Experienceworking with LonWorks, Honeywell or Talon control systems

Experience with AC power distribution and UPS systems

Experience with Power Distribution

Journeyman license in one of the following trades: HVAC Technician, Plumber, Electrician, Low Voltage Electrician or Carpenter

Experience supporting industrial facility building systems to include the following: HVAC, Ventilation, Vacuum Systems, Compressed Air, Chilled Water, and/or Water/Sewer Systems

Experience with Industrial Equipment Maintenance/ Environmental (HVAC) and Mechanical Control Systems

Experience withrepairing and maintaining high pressure steam boilers and air compressors

Experience working as a HVAC Technician

Experience working with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word

Typical Education / Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
