Cabinet shop in Bastrop/Smithville area needs additional help. We are a small 2 person shop in need of a 3rd person. Primary duties would be sanding cabinetry, making cabinet doors, drawers and shelves. You’ll need to know how to read a tape measure down to 16th’s, know how to use a table saw and a miter/chop saw. We can show you everything else. The environment is fairly relaxed, but based on production. We must get a product to a customer in a timely fashion or we lose the customer. We are a full custom shop and build almost anything and everything related to residential cabinetry. This is repetitive work, but not difficult. You’ll be required to help lift, carry and install cabinetry on a regular basis. Position is 1099 contract labor to start. Starting pay if you know nothing more than the basics is $12.50. If you’re able to learn quickly and show us you have good work ethics, we’ll renegotiate pay after 1 month. If you have more experience, please list details, we’ll start you a bit higher and renegotiate pay after 1 month. It is preferred that you live near Bastrop/Smithville area. You must have reliable transportation. Our customers are primarily in the Austin area, but we have gone further into the hill country as far as Inks Lake/Lake Buchanan area.
