If you have been wondering how you can help out in this challenging time, wonder no more! THIS is the answer:

We have IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for PART TIME delivery drivers!

As more and more senior citizens are being asked to stay home, we are hiring more and more food delivery drivers who have outgoing personalities and great work ethics for our Senior Feeding Program. We need energetic, happy people who are eager to provide excellent customer service to our elderly clients and become part of our team!

Here's a bit more info about the job:

Transport meals from main kitchen to residential clients

Deliver food in a timely/safe manner, keep accurate logs of the meals/clients orders and perform courteous customer service, while "safe distancing"

Work up to 25 hours weekly, depending on route

Shift is from approximately 9am-1pm Monday-Friday

Pay rate: DOE

Requirements:

18 years of age or older

Food Handlers Card

Valid driver's license

A clean driving record (no tickets in the last year and no suspensions in the last 3 years)

Send us an email with your resume attached right now! No resume, no problem! Include a list of relevant experience, that includes the name of the company that you worked for, the dates you worked there, and why you left. We are excited to meet you, and to possibly invite you to join our team of amazing drivers! You won't regret it!

You may be thinking to yourself, "Sure, I'd like to help, but how will my personal safety be considered?"

Due to the current situation, one of the many ways that we are protecting both our delivery drivers, as well as the clients we deliver to, is that we are no longer asking our delivery drivers to obtain client signatures as proof of delivery. In fact, we are instructing our delivery drivers to place the meals at each client's front door, step back at least 6 feet from the front door, then call the client on the phone to let them know that their meal has been delivered. Once the delivery driver sees the client retrieve the meal, their job is done, and they are off to their next delivery.
