Work environment: Pharmacy Services

Work hours: Full-time, 2nd shift: 1430-2300 with some middle shifts 1230-2100, every other weekend, may include some holidays and overnight shifts.

RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician (required)

1 year hospital experience (highly preferred)

IV Certification (highly preferred)

Position Responsibilities A Registered Pharmacy Tech with Texas Health will ensure accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must also reflect consistently departmental QI and PS standards, programs and initiatives.In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Registered Pharmacy Tech willcommunicate effectively, develop working relationships and role model teamwork.

manage own time and share the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

Provide timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so

complete other duties as assigned.
