Upfitting/Service Body Installer

Staffmark is seeking installation technicians to join truck kitting facility in Buda TX. You will be responsible for installing service bodies, platforms, dumps, and van packages on new cab and chassis.

Staffmark is seeking installation technicians to join truck kitting facility in Buda TX. You will be responsible for installing service bodies, platforms, dumps, and van packages on new cab and chassis.

Daily Duties:

Read work/installation instructions

Install beds, bodies, platforms to frame of new vehicle

Inspect and test performance of installation

Weld, cut, and measure materials to ensure a safe fit of installation

Other duties needed to safely install and test completion of installation.

Required Skills:

Experience using Grinders, plasma cutter, and cutting torch

Ability to read schematics and follow safety instructions

Ability to meet production requirements in a timely manner

Preferred but not required: Welding - Mig and Tig and Metal Fabrication

Preferred Experience:

Experience using installation equipment: Platforms/Dumps, Hoists/Standard Hydraulics, Service bodies, Box Vas and KUVs

Experience working on automotive electrical systems and fabrication

Assembly experience

Experience working with timed work/jobs
