Lion Real Estate Group is in need of a Renovation and Plumbing Technician to work on capital projects at our 378-unit multifamily property located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This is a temporary position anticipated to last approximately 9 months. This position will be expected to complete a project of changing ball valves in all units among other projects/tasks and will report directly to the Director of Construction.

The renovation technician plays a vital role in our community’s day to day impression on existing and prospective residents and is expected to maintain a high level of quality customer service and professionalism while ensuring that all company maintenance policies and procedures are consistently followed.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Ensures all company maintenance and renovation policies and procedures are followed.

-Ensures that company standards for the performance of maintenance and renovation functions are consistently maintained.

-Ensures quality control checks of all final products.

-Addresses all renovation emergencies in a timely fashion, including emergencies.

-Assists in maintaining and repairing primarily plumbing infrastructure, but may assist with other maintenance issues, including rehab units.

-Maintains service records and inspects all work assignments for completion.

-Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled to satisfactory level.

-Assist with move-in and move-out procedures.

-Maintains grounds cleanliness.

-Treats all tenants with the highest level of concern and care; brings all resident issues to the attention of office personnel.

-Informs property managers of any issues observed in housing units.

-Maintains appropriate expense budget allotted per project.

-Assists in scheduling and overseeing vendors.

-Ensures Company Safety Program and OSHA safety requirements are being followed.

Abilities/Requirements

-Working knowledge of copper plumbing, making repairs, sweating copper.

-Ability to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure.

-Effective communication skills

-Ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.

-Valid Driver’s License and insured operable vehicle.

-Plumbing Experience: minimum 3 years

-Required education: High school or equivalent
