Business Group HighlightsDefenseThe Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.ResponsibilitiesProvide Application/Development full-service modernization and migration services for select Army applications. This service encompasses detailed technical assessments of application code / data to determine the appropriate environment to best leverage the data application, and/or serves, the modernization and migration treatment, costs and timeline for migration. Post-assessment, the Contractor shall provide varying levels of technical direct support for the modernization / migration efforts. These efforts range from minimal support for self-migrators needing only some basic guidance and direction for compliance to full-service modernization / migration support to perform the detailed technical work required to securely re-factor/re-architect applications, test and deploy into the Army’s chosen CSP environment. The Contractor shall use a repeatable, Agile Software Development and DevSecOps methodologies to perform the modernization / migration efforts and maintain compliance with all appropriate and applicable cybersecurity regulations and measures as well as track, assess, integrate, and report on modernization and migration processes.As a member of Phase 1, base team, focused on developing a draft data architecture and application triage tasks while also developing the ADAT process. Provide Data Architecture development and support; Army data and application/system assessment and prioritization (triage) for modernization and migration to the best environment, including Cloud Service Provider (CSP) or Army Enduring Data Center (AEDC); Application/Development full-service modernization and migration services for select Army applications; and, Programmatic and business process workshops, process diagramming/mapping, and associated systems services.QualificationsRequires 16+ years with BS/BA or 14+ years with MS/MA or 10+ years with Ph.D.Experience managing and supporting system requirements analysis, design, and development activities.Significant expertise performing engineering analysis and issue resolution.Analyzes and develops CONOPs, system architectures, and requirements. Has developed specifications, drawings, and other engineering artifacts. Experience supporting process engineering and optimization activities.
