job summary:We are looking for a highly capable individual that can juggle multiple technologies while providing support to our staff. In this role your duties will include managing multiple systems to ensure for the best possible customer experience, all while making sure that our data & systems stay secure. You will also be involved in projects that are shaping the direction of the IT department and the company.To ensure success, you should have extensive experience supporting and maintaining a large fleet of workstations, great time management skills, and excellent troubleshooting skills. While this role handles everything from wireless networks to software configurations, it does allow you to touch many different technologies while focusing on the end-user experience. location: RESTON, Virginiajob type: Permanentsalary: $70,000 - 80,000 per yearwork hours: 9am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Responsibilities and Duties

• Responding to and assisting with escalated support requests.
• Researching and implementing fixes for vulnerabilities present in our environment.
• Maintaining critical systems to ensure performance stays at a high level.
• Documenting processes and ensuring tools are up to date.
• Creating custom software installation packages using enterprise deployment tools.
• Creating new images for workstations and servers, while maintaining current catalog of images.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, or related field.
• 2-5 years experience in an IT Support role or similar.
• Extensive knowledge of computer OS systems, networking, productivity software, and programming.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues that require extensive research and critical thinking.
• Ability to keep up with trends in IT Operations and Endpoint Security.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
