This position will only begin when the WA Stay Home Stay Healthy order is lifted.

We are a Bellingham based company. This position will be assisting with construction of camper shells for KIMBO CAMPERS and interiors to meet customer specifications and manufacturing requirements. Position is Full Time 40 hours week Mon-Fri with healthcare available after 60 days.

Responsibilities and Duties

Constructs internal and external camper elements and parts including interior (cabinetry, furniture, wiring, appliances) structural framing, and other accessories;

Collaborate, work with, and guide other team members to execute a variety of specific tasks;

Operates hand tools and shop equipment safely and proficiently;

Exercises a strong individual and team work ethic, demonstrates a good attitude and desire to learn;

Works from technical drawings to accurately build camper elements;

Responsible for keeping production tasks and facilities both efficient and safe;

Strives to produce the highest quality hand-crafted products to production standards with minimal waste;

Brings innovation to the company and work with a desire to enhance the production process and provide the team with added bandwidth;

Applies various finishes to completed projects;

Loads, unloads, and organizes raw materials and finished elements;

Keeps the shop clean, organized, and healthy place for team members to work

Perform work as assigned by a lead and/or supervisor to accomplish company and departmental goals;

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent;

Solid verbal and written communication skills;

Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and self-managed;

Comfortable working with various hand and power tools, knowledge of the proper use, safety and operation of drills, saws, rivet ;

Receptive to constructive criticism, applies feedback;

Proven positive teamwork and communication skills;

Experience following engineering drawings, specs and work instructions;

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals;

Basic Forklift experience and/or certification;

Understanding of Lean principles and process;
