Gaming software test engineer needed for contract role based out of Redmond WA and come join a great team!Local candidates are preferred and must have a gaming background. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following:Ownership of multiple game areas and assist in directing other area owners Review and provide feedback on test specifications and coverage plans for other STEsMentor STEs and Test AssociatesSubject matter expert for a game area, feature or toolsAbility to drive and evangelize one or more commonly used tools within the departmentPresent test reviews, process improvements, postmortems or new tools to the clientQualifications and Education Requirements:3+ years of experience as a Test Engineer, all relevant related experience may be consideredStrong knowledge of software testing standards, methodologies and conventions, and the product development cycle Demonstrated success in coordinating the test efforts for one or more software projects as well as testing software products and contributing to their quality standardsExperience owning quality for multiple areas of shipped products Preferred Skills:Power BI or equivalent data analysis softwareMicrosoft Office SuiteBeginner to intermediate level knowledge of one or more scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript, Perl Script or Windows batch files) SQL, ASP, IIS, and/or HTML
