Job Description

McMonigle Veterinary Hospital is looking for a part-time, temporary veterinary receptionist to join our team now through April. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, a clear communicator, and a willing team player.

We are currently operating with COVID restrictions in place. The majority of this position’s responsibility will be phone conversations and payment processing, email communications and use of a computer program. Applicant must have excellent phone/computer skills and clear communication. Applicant will work inside a building with co-workers and minimal exposure to the public until restrictions are lifted and our safety protocols change. There is no set time frame for this transition, but all decisions are made with the safety of our staff as our priority.

This position is for part-time temporary hours, with a potential option to become permanent. The position is available starting now and ending in April. The preferred hours are: Current through end of December: Wednesday 8:30-5pm, Friday 8:30-5pm, one Saturday a month 8:30-12pm. January through April: Monday 8:30-5pm, Wednesday OR Thursday 8:30-5pm, Friday 8:30-5pm and every other Saturday 8:30-12pm. Pay will be dependent upon experience. Previous experience in the veterinary field strongly desired, but applicants with a strong background in customer service will be considered.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the veterinary field strongly desired, but applicants with a strong background in customer service will be considered.
