About the Role

The Chef is the primary leader of day-to-day kitchen operations. You will work closely with the Executive Chef, Dark Store Market Manager, kitchen leads, line cooks, and prep cooks. You will be responsible for food quality consistency and food & labor costs. Under the direction of the Executive Chef, you will provide support to develop and refine recipes and menus for the Hunger Hub and various virtual concepts. This position will report to the Executive Chef.

- You have experience with menu and recipe costing

- You have an ongoing awareness of culinary trends and strong leadership skills

- You have a passion for continued learning

What We Expect You To Bring To The Table

- 3-5 years of experience in high-volume kitchens

- ServSafe certification

- Expert in kitchen sanitation and safety regulations in compliance with applicable health codes

- Excellent organizational skills, maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance

- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment, and conflict management abilities

- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends, expected to be on-call when needed

- Ability to lift 50 pounds

- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time

- Basic computer skills and experience with Google Suite

- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
