We are seeking an ASSISTANT MANAGER.

As a member of our management team, you will supply the energy and enthusiasm to motivate employees and engage customers. We will supply the training and opportunities for both vertical and horizontal advancement. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be willing to work a scheduled 50-55 hours per week

Achieve optimal performance from employees through communicating and role modeling.

Offer great customers service.

Maintain cafe financials and cash controls/procedures

Actively participate in the selection, orientation and training of associates.

Be on call certain days of the week, willing to answer the phone and problem solve.

Oversee dining room, kitchen and wholesale & catering functions to provide our guest with an impressive experience. Maintain food presentation, restaurant cleanliness, lighting and background music as well as overall appearance of interior and exterior of the cafe.

Stay well informed and aware of staffing needs while anticipating future needs.

Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards and procedures. Consistently monitor that all employees are following company protocol and guidelines.

Required Experience/Skills:

- 1+ years of Restaurant Management Experience.

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- Perform a variety of tasks with a certain degree of creativity and latitude (required).

- Ability to recruit, develop and motivate team members.

- Must be able to lift approx. 50lbs

- Passion for the business and a passion for people.

- Strong knowledge of commonly used best practices, concepts and procedures in a restaurant environment.

- Leadership and communication skills

- High school or equivalent

- References and a consistent work history with longevity are required for this position.
