Director of Cloud Solutions (video delivery industry)

Direct hire The person will report to the Senior Director Worldwide Field Sales Operations and be the primary Business Partner to the VP of Cloud Sales leading a worldwide operations team supporting their organization. This individual will be responsible for ensuring there are efficient and effective sales motions across all the cloud routes to market (RTM’s). They will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, designing and deploying process, process enhancement, tools, reporting, forecasting and pipeline management in conjunction with the other business units.Duties & Responsibilities:• Ownership of all operational elements in support of cloud sales.• Manage a team focused on supporting the cloud sales team• All aspects of forecasting and pipeline management including adoption and change management forthe sales organization in conjunction with the CoE (Centre of Excellence) teams.• Contributing to the design, development, implementation of new practices and processes to supportthe ongoing expansion of cloud sales into new routes to market (RTM)• Working closely with the various teams such as Compensation & Commission, Global Process, andother operations teams to ensure alignment of the cloud sales teams• As needed lead and project manage the development and implementation of operational solutions forRTM sales motion strategies• Collaborate closely with IT, Finance and other teams to secure approvals, develop systems and designprocesses to drive greater efficiency for cloud sales practices• Collaborate with other RTMs and segments to share data and best practices to accelerate co-selling.• Be responsible for providing performance reporting and analysis, including Quarterly Business Reviewcontent.• Lead and develop a team to be trusted strategic advisors/business partner to the leaders of CloudSales Strategy, Cloud Velocity and Commercial Sales by providing valuable insights to build strategyand ensure the continued success of the businessRequirements & Experience• 5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations gained within a fast-paced high-techorganization, preferably 2+ years in a XaaS or Revenue services business• 3+ years’ experience in Sales or Sales-facing role, ideally in a Mid-Market or channel sales role• Proven ability to develop and implement workable solutions involving technical, process and policyelements• Experience in designing, building and managing business metrics and the associated reporting tools• Proven technical aptitude, preferably with experience on Salesforce.com and data analytics tools• Proven experience working remotely, independently, and cross-functionally• Proven track record of excellent communications skills both verbally and via presentations.Salary: $150-170K + 25% bonus
