Description We are looking for a Level 2 Help Desk specialist in the Eaton Rapids, MI area. The Level 2 Help Desk specialist position is a contract role but could end up landing you a permanent spot. Partial remote is a possibility. Compensation up to $30/hr depending on experience. Typical job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide tier 1 & 2 end user hardware and software support
- Coordinate maintenance schedule for computers. This includes backups and upgrades
- Support and upgrade computers into system network
- Install and upgrade any new hardware or software into computers and workstations
- Coordinate any add or changes to information systems
- Administer end user requests for software and hardware in accordance with company policy
Requirements The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills and experiences:- 3 plus years' experience working with hardware, software, application systems and networks
- Diploma or degree in computer science is highly preferred
- A+, Network+, Microsoft MCP and other equivalent certs highly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems and general principles
- Excellent customer service skills
- Software deployment and maintenance
- Experience troubleshooting a network
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Manufacturing experience
