IT Technician

TCI has an immediate need for a Part-time IT Technician in

• Provide technical support to approximately 55 networked computers and 45 users.
• Microsoft Operating Systems (OS) are the predominant workstation operating systems, with some Mac OS.
• Anti-virus, Encryption and certain other monitoring clients are on all government equipment.
• Troubleshoot and correct equipment malfunctions.
• Install printers, monitors, circuit boards and chips.
• Relocate IT equipment as needed.
• Provide technical support and representation in acquisition, evaluation and testing of equipment.
• Maintain equipment status, maintenance and repair records.
• Serve as representative in coordinating equipment in need of repair; and installs and maintains network devices in an Active Directory environment as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 or more years of experience in IT support services.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Operating Systems.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communicator with high proficiency in written and oral English.
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
• Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback.
• Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start. TCI will assist with this.
