Job Description:
  • Analyzes customer requirements and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity.
  • Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks.
  • Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability.
  • Configures systems for data communication networks.
  • Supports the design, installation, and build of hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks.
  • Troubleshoots and support daily operations including responding to and resolving incidents.
  • Maintains current knowledge and documentation of relevant technology as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance or IT1 with current SSBI/T5 investigation in JPAS
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
  • 5 years experience supporting network engineering
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals, TCP/IP routing and switching
  • Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues
  • Experience performing maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed to work with business partners, engineering, operations and vendors
