DevOps Specialist / Release Coordinator

Job Description:Position Summary We are looking for a DevOps Specialist to help us facilitate both production and daily SIT/UAT installs. This is a vital role for our software development organization. The person in this role will primarily be responsible for change management duties; including but not limited to supporting our Dev Ops organization, coordinating releases, submitting service (CRQ) tickets, and facilitating production and daily SIT/UAT installs. He or she will work closely with software developers to ensure successful deployments and 100% compliance with standard operating procedures. In addition, the person in this position will work closely with our business and technology partners to plan and coordinate release schedules and activities. The role provides opportunity to expand responsibility and assist with various continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as, Jira, XLR, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, and SQL.Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with DevOps, Operations, Production Support, Development and/or technology project management.
• Experience with JIRA and SQL.
• Desired experience with XLR, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Previous banking or financial service experience
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others groups to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Ability to adapt to an ever changing environment.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a team oriented environment.
• Able to work flexible hours to support occasional evening and weekend software installs
