ResponsibilitiesPerspecta is currently looking for a talented hands-on Engineer who can fully grasp and understand the system engineering technical and technical management processes being applied to specific Electronic Warfare (EW) Science and Technology programs being developed within the US Army's Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD). This engineer will then be expected to understand and monitor the engineering activities related to the design, development, fabrication, installation, modification, sustainment, and or analysis of EW system components that support acquisition programs, projects, or activities in the Program Executive Office (PEO) Ground Combat Systems (GCS) environment.

QualificationsRequires 10 years relevant experience with BS/BA (Engineering or Physics disciplines preferred)

Skills Required for this role:- Technical Expertise across a variety of engineering domains (Engineering/Physics background preferred)- Knowledge and understanding of Active Protection Systems (APS) - components, integration and system development- Understanding of Countermeasures and or related US Army Soft-Kill Program efforts- Effectively communicate and manage collaboration efforts between multiple Government and Industry-based organizations- Knowledge of preparation, and ability to present technical and programmatic briefings to leadership, stakeholders, and customer audiences (e.g. Government offices, PM/PdM offices, Chief Engineers, Technical Forums, etc.)- Ability to manage and or coordinate exchange of technical information and documents (e.g. systems specifications, Program design reviews, etc.)- Ability / Flexibility to travel (for training, meetings, field tests events, etc.)-Travel up to 50% to APG, MD within the first year until fully acquainted US Army's Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) processes- Secret level security clearance or higher required

Desired Skills for this Role:- Knowledge of EW systems and Army ground vehicles- Knowledge of, and experience with Government Program Management (PM/PdM experience preferable)- Experience leading and or managing the design and development activities for systems or system components on a Defense Acquisition Program- Fundamental understanding of how systems engineering processes are properly applied during system development- Familiarity with the development of a technical framework that is intended to deliver materiel capabilities to the Warfighter
