Draftsperson/Technical Drawing Analyst Position Description Join our CGI team in a dynamic environment supporting the US Army customer in developing and updating military technical drawings using applicable military and industry standards. Requires experience using CAD drafting software to include 3D modeling software. Candidate must be motivated and able to shift priorities as customer requirements change. Must be able to work with a variety of project office customers.Your future duties and responsibilities 1. Review Engineering Drawings and other Technical documentation for compliance with applicable standards to include ASME-Y14.5, ASME Y14.24, ASME Y14.34, ASME Y14.35, ASME Y14.100 and MIL-STD-31000. 2. Document drawing deficiencies and effectively communicate requirements to customers as necessary. 3. Develop and update military technical drawings using applicable military and industry standards to include ASME-Y14.5, ASME Y14.24, ASME Y14.34, ASME Y14.35, ASME Y14.100 and MIL-STD-31000. 4. Incorporate Engineering Change Proposals written against a variety of Aviation and Missile system technical drawings. 5. Develop and/or update technical drawings using AutoCAD and Microstation. 6. Develop 3D model files from 2D documentation and/or actual equipment. 7. Produce accurate and compliant 2D documentation from 3D model files. 8. Experience using Windchill environment is plus. 9. Communicate with customers and coworkers to resolve issues. Required qualifications to be successful in this role 1. Experience using CAD drafting software such as Microstation, Autocad, ProE (Creo), Inventor, or Solidworks. 2. At least 3 years Solidworks experience in mechanical applications of Solidworks. 3. Familiarity with military and industry standards to include ASME-Y14.5, ASME Y14.24, ASME Y14.34, ASME Y14.35, ASME Y14.100 and MIL-STD-31000. 4. This position requires a Department of Defense (DoD) interim SECRET clearance to start on the project; ship is required Desired Qualifications: - Autocad, Microstation, IRAS\b, MEARS (Multi-User ECP Automated Review System), ICAPP (Interactive Configuration and Procurement Program), EDIS (Electronic Data Information System) - Microsoft Office - Experience leading small projects. - Solidworks Certification (CSWP or CSWA)
