IA Security Lead (SMDC-20-1521-W): Bowhead seeks a IA Security Lead to support the The USASMDC contract in Huntsville, AL. The Senior IA Engineer will be responsible for all matters pertaining to Information Assurance (IA) and systems security and for day-to-day management of security support. Duties to include: • Provides technical security services relative to the implementation of information security, industrial security, personnel security, communications security, resource protection, force protection, and anti-terrorism programs. Responsible for ensuring compliance with government security policies and procedures, and for development and improvement of compliant contractor procedures. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Security or a related technical field from an accredited university or college • 3 years specialized experience in the field to government information systems management security, or a combination of at least 30 credit hours in computer science or information systems security and at least 10 years specialized experience in the field of government information systems management and security, 5 of which should be in a management position. • Must meet DOD 8570 requirements as an Information Assurance Management, Level II (IAM-II). SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level. ship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
