Contract to hire MN or NC Title- Agile Product OwnerCan you please provide a summary of the project/initiative which describes what's being done? Optum clinical gateway, ingestion, standardization, and distribution of clinical data. Need to add this position to the team due to COVID immunization data that is part of our scope. We are acquiring data for population health work. What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)? Experienced agile product owner with healthcare technology experience. What does the team make-up look like - how many members and what is the break-down of the team's skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? - Dynamic team structure that will change 2 - 3 times over the next 12 months based on business needs, likely 1 product owner, 1 tech lead, 5 software engineers and potentially 1 BSA What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) - Work with tech teams, business users, and business partners to understand requirements - Write user stories and acceptance criteria - Manage feature and user story backlog (groom features and user stories, prioritize features and user stories) - Lead daily stand up meeting - Lead SCRUM agile ceremonies for the team (story and feature acceptance, sprint planning, progress tracking, sprint retrospective) - Determine dependencies and negotiate solutions What skills/attributes are a must have (Please be detailed as to number of years of experience)? Highly desired: - Experience as an agile product owner (2+ years) - SAFE or scrum agile experience (1+ years) - If a candidate with prior Optum experience, OSAM experience would be helpful. - Experience with Rally (agile software) (1+ years) - Some healthcare experience (2+ years) Nice to have - Experience with Aha! (product roadmapping tool) - Product manager experience / product management methodology knowledge - HL7 and / or FHIR experience - Project management experience - Knowledge of and / or experience with SCRUM master and / or Release Train engineer responsibilities - Extensive healthcare technology experienceWhat are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc) To align with team members offshore and on the east coast, core work hours are 7am - 4pm central time.
