IT Project Manager-CA Contract 3 Months + San Diego, CA Job Summary Responsible for delivering global IT solutions while managing the activity for several teams from project inception to delivery providing end-to-end solutions. Creates and maintains all project management artifacts including budgets, schedules, resource demand plans, and communication updates to ensure the teams are meeting project milestones and overall project goals. Skills

  • Project scheduling- Microsoft Project. Manage risk and mitigate it.
  • Project and Portfolio Management - Using Clarity PPM- Resource allocation and status for risk.
  • Agile Methodology - ServiceNow or Jira-Understanding where they are on an epic or a feature even when it will be released.
  • Experience with SAP ERP preferred
Education and Experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor s degree; or 3 years and a Master s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Technical field)
  • 5 years of related experience
Primary Responsibilities
  • Collaborates closely with IT leaders, IT team members and Business Stakeholders to ensure successful execution and delivery of IT projects while handling a variety of projects that are aligned with the company's key objectives
  • Manages programs/projects within a project management framework to ensure successful completion with an emphasis on delivering meaningful, customer focused solutions
  • Creates project plans, identifies key milestones, manages risks and reports project status
  • Improves existing processes to increase efficiencies
  • Ensures success factors are understood and clearly documented for post launch assessment
  • Presents project/program status updates to senior management
  • Partners with Senior Executives and Project Team members to define and manage the scope, strategy, user stories and measures of success
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Required Skills / Capabilities
  • Expert utilizing Agile and Waterfall principles for project delivery
  • Proven negotiation skills to influence individuals across all functional organizations and at all levels
  • Expert working collaboratively with business sponsors
