Lead Systems Administrator (SMDC-20-1524-W): Bowhead seeks a Lead Systems Administrator to support the USASMDC contract in Huntsville, AL. The Lead Systems Administrator will be responsible for the evaluation, acquisition, installation and support of high performance computing systems to include hardware, software and data storage devices. Duties to include: • Has extensive experience with high performance computing center operations. • Familiar with HWSW and data storage concepts, practices, and procedures in a high performance computing center. • Supervises subordinate systems administrators / analysts and sets work priorities. Requirements .S. degree in engineering or computer science or 12 years of directly related experience. • Must meet DOD 8570 requirements as an Information Assurance Technical, Level II. • The contractor will be designated as an IAT-II as they will have privileged-level access to control, manage, and / or configure IA tools and devices, individual and networked IS and devices, and enclaves. Therefore, this person is required to have a favorable completion of a National Agency Check (NAC) (current within 180 days); and initiation of a Single Scope Background Instigation (SSBI)and favorable review of SF 85P, SP 86, and Supplemental Questionnaire. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level. ship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
