Linux QT Contractor

We are looking to fill a short-term contract position with someone who can develop in Qt. The application will require a user interface that allows our end uses to access internal logs and events on our X-ray baggage inspection scanner. This application may require some database development if determined to be the most effective way of logging information for the intended use. We’re looking for someone with socket programming experience (TCP/IP and UDP) whose specifically developed client/server applications in C. The server side application will be developed in C and run on Linux while the client side will be cross platform and ideally developed in C and Qt (for the UI).Ideally this person would come to our location in Binghamton, NY to perform this work. ship is needed.Refactoring, software verification/validation, developing simulators; QT, C14, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu, Windows, VirtualBox, rsyslog, GNU toolchain, cpptest, SVN, Perl/bash scripting, libssh, MySQL, TCP/IP, UDP.
