Job Description Day to day we are consultants working for Google, helping their customers onboard a best practice, secure, infrastructure as code, Google Cloud. We focus on Terraform, Kubernetes, and overall Google Cloud Platform best practices. Depending on the company we may branch out into culture consulting in order to get the engineers shifting away from "datacenter think" into "cloud think" This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects with the world's leading authority on cloud software: Google. Our client is working with Google to build a Senior DevOps team and can give a few select individuals the opportunity to work for Google. You will work on various DevOps projects internal to Google as well as deploy complex systems to Google Cloud Platform for Fortune 500 clients. Google Cloud Platform expertise is not required but cloud experience is. You will help design, architect, and execute on plans to leverage Google Cloud Platform to add scale, resiliency, availability, and deployment confidence to large-scale software platforms. These are true high-volume mission-critical systems serving millions of users.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of DevOps/ SRE experience
  • Experience with cloud tech. preferably Google Cloud Platform
  • Container technologies (ECS, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Data Center to Cloud Migrations
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code (Terraform)

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science; or equivalent experience
  • Google Cloud Platform certification is a plus
  • CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins or CircleCI)
  • Scripting with Python, Ruby or Bash
  • Strong analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset

The Offer
  • Competitive Pay: Up to $100/hour, DOE
