What you will be doing:

The Frog Creek Partners (FCP) is seeking an engaging, high-energy people person who is passionate about clean water and wants to do well by doing good. The ideal candidate has a background in successful sales and is motivated to sell a practical and effective solution that improves the health of our planet.

The Community Engagement Manager will initiate and manage Clean Water Community Challenges (CWCC). These events are community-specific sales efforts established and proven to attract companies and individuals who want to sponsor Gutter Bins to fight the menace of stormwater pollution. Initially the job will be focused on the intermountain west region with the intent to grow to a national presence.

A successful CWCC requires community outreach, marketing, sales, event planning and close coordination with municipal personnel. As Community Engagement Manager, you will be expected to execute at least one CWCC per month, which will require occasional day or overnight travel. Once completed, the Community Engagement Manager will act as the account manager for a CWCC municipality and will be expected to generate ongoing sales and perform customer service.

The Community Engagement Manager will also be expected to take on additional duties (see below) and as they arise.What are your duties?

  • CWCC
  • Identify and recruit challengers
  • Project Management
  • Sales and CRM administration
  • Coordination with other team FCP members
  • Grant writing or coordination
  • Account management with CWCC municipality
  • May transition to direct municipality sales in the future
  • Contract management
  • Event planning & networking
  • Scheduling and planning
  • Running social media for FCP: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Industry association and membership management
  • Referral follow-ups
  • Customer/relationship stewardship
  • Invoice and estimate generation

What type of person are we looking for?We are seeking a self-starting, motivated individual who is comfortable taking on a project or task, owning it, and completing it with minimal direction and supervision. You need to be willing to make decisions, take risks, learn from failure and celebrate success. This position requires a good deal of sales and community outreach.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Prior sales experience
  • Experience leading projects end-to-end
  • Strong social media skills
  • Technical proficiency in: MS Office Suite, Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides), DropBox, Slack
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Strong writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently
  • The ability to influence and lead other towards a cause

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Prior startup experience
  • Event planning experience/skills/desire
  • Video production/editing experience
  • Hubspot experience
  • Experience in grant writing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
